Why now? The Independent Label Market is taking place at London’s Old Spitalfields Market today (12 July). If you’re in the area you can pop along and buy rare releases from a host of labels on stalls run by the people who work at the labels. Plus there will be DJs and a few of the artists who’s stock is being sold will be on hand to help out. Woman’s Hour will be helping out on Secretly Canadian’s stall between 11am and 3pm (BST), plus five vinyl copies of their unreleased debut album (out Monday) will be on sale… they might even sign it for you.
