Q Awards 2015: New Order “Peter Andre dancing to Blue Monday on Strictly Come Dancing was the strangest of strange things!”

New Order say Peter Andre dancing to Blue Monday on Strictly Come Dancing last week was one of the strangest things they’ve ever seen.

The band picked Q Outstanding Contribution To Music at yesterday’s (19 October) Q Awards In Association With Absolute Radio, but perhaps they should have got a ‘contribution to tangoing’ prize too.

“Peter Andre was a bit strange though,” declares Stephen Morris in a video interview you can watch below… alongside the dancing itself.

“That was very strange, if you talk about strange things,” he adds. “Saturday was very strange. Can you hear our influence in his sound? Er, yeah…”
