Sometime Who and Oasis drummer Zak Starkey (left) is hitting the road with his own band Penguinsrising this month for two special gigs. Aided by Kasabian‘s Tom Meighan who’ll be providing DJ support, the band will play the This Feeling club nights at London’s Queen Of Hoxton on 12 October and Manchester’s FAC251 on 19 October. See Thisfeeling.co.uk for ticket details. Here’s Zak’s 5Ws, plus his band’s new video.
WHO would play you in the film of your life?
Well even up to now it would be a bit of an epic so the kid from the Omen, Jude Law and then Tom Hanks or Richard E Grant depending on how I turn out.
WHAT are you currently working on?
It’s not work but if it was I’d still do it.
WHY do you do that thing you do?
I’ve always done it. It has always been the natural thing to do. I do it all the time… What was it again?
WHERE do you see yourself in ten years?
A decayed older.
WHEN will there be a harvest for the world?
When I get a brand new combine harvester… Soon!
