Indeed following recent activity in Wales, Cornwall and Bristol, their next “Social” takes place at London’s Bush Hall at lunchtime on 15 November, featuring a rare performance from July Skies, Radiohead’s Colin Greenwood in conversation with writer Richard Skelton, poet Will Burns and much more – see below. Jeff Barrett: “After doing Caught by the River for nine years we still find it difficult, when asked, to sum up or define in words what the hell it is exactly. And to be honest we like that. Caught by the River isn’t constrained by pre-determined boundaries, a rare thing in life. This allows us to evolve and develop in our own time. Keeping our minds open and our senses sharp it has led us unexpectedly down unexplored tributaries and paths we may never have trodden. If this ongoing adventure had a soundtrack – which of course it does – it would be one where spoken word and music combine to paint a picture of truth and beauty.
