Toronto-born singer Tess Parks has made a record, I Declare Nothing, with her neighbour in her adopted hometown, Berlin. Fortunately she lives near Brian Jones Town Massacre leader Anton Newcombe (both pictured) and with the pair set to tour Europe – UK dates kick off next week at Leeds’ Brudenell Social Club (12 July) – she answers five questions for us.
WHO would play you in the film of your life?
I’d play myself and it would be totally weird like Ciao Manhattan. Less tragic, though.
WHAT are you currently working on?
I’m in Toronto right now spending time with my family, collaborating on music and working on making music videos for myself and for my friends, but I am currently gearing up to go to Berlin to rehearse for mine and Anton’s summer tour. Also psyched that our record came out!
WHY do you do that thing you do?
Because it feels good. I like to be inspired and hopefully inspire others.
WHERE do you see yourself in ten years?
Making music. Living happily and travelling with my love. Hopefully have a beautiful family.
WHEN will there be a harvest for the world?
When everyone learns to love each other, ie When Oasis get back together!
