Tyne and Wear’s Little Comets are one of the acts playing the Jack Rocks This Feeling stage with the likes of YAK and Broken Hands at this weekend’s Isle Of Wight Festival (9-12 June). In preparation frontman Robert Coles has answered five questions for Q.
WHO would play you in the film of your life?
Ah, probably a child actor for when I was a child, then the bloke from Years & Years to play me in the vapid teenage months – or just get some flat-pack furniture to do it and have lots of long distance shots, I haven’t decided yet – toss a coin. For the death scene I’d do it because the budget would be done.
WHAT are you currently working on?
Sorting funding for the above project and recording album four – which might be the soundtrack. Who knows?
WHY do you do that thing you do?
Because it is a lovely thing to get to do as a job. We do feel very lucky, given the amount of talented people who don’t get the opportunity to make music as a career.
WHERE do you see yourself in ten years?
Hopefully, in a field with my family having a picnic, still writing songs and playing music with friends laa.
WHEN will there be a harvest for the world?
