Hooton Tennis Club have just made the video for their debut single Jasper (below), which was produced by Bill Ryder Jones at his mum’s house. Released on 23 February, it’s not the only thing they’ve been working on, not only do the band play a series of dates, including the Heavenly Weekender in Hebden Bridge on 25 January and the band have been busy in kitchen, or possibly galley…

WHAT are you currently working on?
James, Harry, and Ryan are currently making a lovely fish pie, here is the recipe:
Lots of Potatoes
Some Butter
Some Milk
1 x Bag of Mixed Fish
Dijon Mustard
Petits Pois (fresh from garden if possible)
Grated Cheese
25g Flour
Spring Onion
Leeks
Salt & Pepper (as standard)
Use the above to make the pie.
Callum is currently on a boat.
WHY do you do that thing you do?
It’s a thing we’ve been doing for years as friends and we’re still friends so we’re still doing it.
WHERE do you see yourself in ten years?
Gosh, that’s a long time away; we’ve only just released our first single! It’d be nice to think that we’d still be touring and making music together. We could release ten albums in ten years, right?
