With The Orb returning to play their debut album Adventures Beyond The Ultraworld live in full at the Brixton Electric later this month (29 July), main man Alex Paterson has answered our five, regular questions.
WHO would play you in the film of your life?
Tim Roth (we used to pogo together as young punks at the Croydon Greyhound of an evening.
WHAT are you currently working on?
A new album, a new club for Sunday afternoon comedowns called Cake Lab, a country & western band called Root Masters, plus WNBC.london, a Snorewood radio station.
WHY do you do that thing you do?
Because it is what it is, innit.
WHERE do you see yourself in ten years?
In a muddy field with a huge sub pack on my back trying to feel more bass, while my dog runs about looking for the perfect beat, in a jaw bone.
WHEN will there be a harvest for the world?
Isn’t it happening with the new world order already? All things are harvested and if the NWO don’t get you, dark matter will (see Stephen Hawking).
