New Nick Cave film 20,000 Days On Earth gets its cinematic release in the UK tomorrow (19 September) – but you can watch an clip from the movie on Q right now.
Not a biopic, tour film or documentary – but drawing elements from all of those – Iain Forsyth and Jane Pollard’s film is an inventive meditation on life, existence, past and present via the prism of Cave’s life and career. It earned a five star review from Q for it’s unique approach to the rock’n’roll film.
So have a bang on this – here’s an exclusive moment from the movie that sees Bad Seed coming face-to-face one of the ‘ghosts’ while driving around Brighton in his Jag. In this clip Cave reminisces with Ray Winstone who appeared in the film The Proposition, written by the singer.
