Boasting members of Decemberists, Guided By Voices and Jicks, and getting signed to Tim Burgess’ own label following actor Paddy Considine’s recommendation, it’s been a hectic few months for Oregon’s Eyelids. And now they have a brand new video for 854, premiering below, that’s full of wrestlers! As it’s the title track from the band’s new a bum, out 10 September, we felt it right to ask one of their vocalists and guitarists (they have two), Chris Slusarenko, five firm questions.

WHAT are you currently working on?
Creating more locked grooves for vinyl, finishing our 2nd animated full length feature “Le Salaire de la Peur Deux”, keeping up with the light barrier & spending more time with four others in a basement.
WHY do you do that thing you do?
Because they haven’t made a pill to stop me yet.
WHERE do you see yourself in ten years?
Sitting behind our merch table watching whomever the rest of Eyelids replaces me with doing quite well on stage.
WHEN will there be a harvest for the world?
Aw man… you just missed it! The Great Huckleberry, Pewter & Funk Down Harvest in Doover, Oregon was last month. You would have hated it…
