Following a tour announcement, Morrissey premiered the brand new video for his song Kiss Me A Lot earlier this week. Taken from last year’s World Peace Is None Of Your Business, the track’s Sam Esty Rayner directed video features scenes of a healthy looking Morrissey performing the track with his band, alongside clips of lingerie clad models covered in lipstick graffiti as well as some interesting choreography from the man himself.
With third album – How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful – set for release in June, Florence + The Machine unveiled a new song entitled Ship To Wreck this week. The song’s theme is inspired by singer Florence Welch’s own destructive side, and is set for release on 25 May.
A handful of lucky Ride fans were given an extra Easter treat on Sunday, as the band returned to their hometown for their first live show since 1995, a warm-up for this weekend’s set at California’s Coachella festival. Focusing on material from the band’s first two albums, a plethora of fan-footage has emerged online. Here’s a look at the band’s comeback show before they return for a short UK tour in May.
Frank Ocean announced he will release his third studio album in July, plus will join James Blake’s current Measure of Albion tour, including a a show at Manchester’s Roadhouse tonight (10 April 10) before a gig in London at a currently unannounced venue on Sunday evening.
More news from the Odd Future collective also come in the form of Tyler, The Creator‘s plans to for his third album, Cherry Bomb. He’s releasing next week! The album announcement ties in with the launch of his new Golf Media app and a print magazine. The record is set to feature two tracks that have appeared upon Soundcloud – Deathcamp and Fucking Young/Perfect. The former can be streamed below.

Beds In Parks is the latest collaboration between Big Sister and The History of Apple Pie’s Joanna Curwood and Hatcham Social’s Finnigan Kid. Having played their debut live show in Stoke Newington this week, the duo are set to release their debut AA-side single Mabel (When It Gets Dark)/Something To Do, set for release through Crocodile Records later this month. The first of the two songs is a seven-minute epic alternative rock composition that builds upon some of the pair’s influences, including The Vaselines and Mazzy Star. The track favouring a DIY recording approach that teams their retro sounding dual vocals with loud guitars and fierce pounding drums before diving headfirst into an enthralling climax.
