Why now? White Denim have just announced they will release sixth studio album Stiff on 25 March, which features this track. It’s not only their first album with a producer, Ethan Johns, it also features a song called Thank You, co-written with Cass McCombs. Plus the band tour the UK, playing Manchester’s Deaf Institute (15 February) and Islington Assembly Hall in London (16).
