The Pitchfork Paris Festival takes place this weekend (30 October – 1 November) at the Grande Halle de La Villette in the French capital. To showcase the best of the bill, the organisers have made us this Playlist.
Caribou – Our love

Son Lux – Easy
“Son Lux composes and produces his music, a perfect mix between orchestral pop music and electronic experimentations. He also made a version of Easy in collaboration with Lorde.”
James blake – Retrograde
“We hosted James Blake two years ago and it was one of the best concert of the festival. Retrograde is from his last album Overgrown, but we can’t wait to hear some new works he’s preparing for his next album. It’s claimed wants to invite Kanye West and Justin Vernon of Bon Iver to work with him on it.”
Jamie xx – Sleep Sound
“After several remixes and some singles, his first album is finally on its way! This track is groovy, exotic and electric. We’re convinced!”
Jon Hopkins – Open Eye Signal
“Last year Jon Hopkins was part of the programming for the after parties. This year he will play at La Grande Halle at the festival and will turn it into a dancefloor. We’re ready for his acidic techno.”
Belle & Sebastian – I Want The World To Stop
“Belle & Sebastian is one cult classic! We’re really happy to welcome them this year, particularly as their next album is said to be a Eurovision-inspired creation!”
