Andy Burrows releases his new album Fall Together Again on 20 October, but you can stream the record in full right now. Plus read the singer-songwriter’s introduction to the new record.
Hello. Here is my new album Fall Together Again. It was mainly written on tour whilst travelling around Europe promoting my last album, Company. I recorded it earlier this year in a cabin at the foot of the mountains of Snowdonia, North Wales. Throughout most of the recording a hurricane raged around us. Trees kept falling down, one narrowly missing our little cabin. Despite the storm outside, inside we had the best time with my touring band who all joined me. They cooked, I cleaned. Rock’n’roll teamwork!
The album starts with an instrumental called Derwen (named after the studio Bryn Derwen). The track is the little sister to Rosslyn one of the tracks I wrote for the Smith & Burrows album, Funny Little Angels. Tom Smith of Editors, drove five hours to join us and sing on a track we wrote together, Watch Me Fall Again.
I am so proud of this record. Hope Q folks enjoy it.
