A bit swankier than your average music festival – it’s been staged by club Home House after all – Home Coming will open its doors for the first time on 1 June at Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre… and not just to members. Staged to benefit Elton John’s AIDs Foundation, and clearly with the club’s clout – not to mention Squeeze’s Chris Difford who helped curated the event – Festival Producer Eric Allen has picked out some highlights for this Playlist.

The Strypes – Blue Collar Jane

“They are the youngest act on the Home Coming bill, but mark my words they will make the most noise! It’s going to be a big year for these Irish lads and I’m looking forward to seeing what they do.”

Jacqui Dankworth – I Can’t Make You Love Me

“All jazz lovers will be excited to see Jacqui Dankworth at Home Coming because she’s jazz royalty, runs in her family, her parents are prolific jazz artists too!”

Kathryn Williams – Spit On A Stranger (pictured)

“Even though this isn’t an original Kathryn Williams song, I absolutely love her version! Her voice is very relaxing and I’m sure everyone will love her set!”

“An Irish legend on the Home Coming Line up. I Need is one of favourite tracks from 2012, love his sound which reminds me of Finley Quaye.”

Sophie Ellis- Bextor – Murder on the Dance Floor

“Everybody loves a bit of disco pop and this is a classic. Currently on her UK tour, we’re looking forward to having her at Home Coming.”

Paloma Faith – Stone Cold Sober

“One of the biggest acts at Home Coming, Paloma Faith is not only getting big in the UK but also with our neighbours in the US, exciting times ahead!”
