Why now? Here’s the UK premiere The Waterboys’ new video for November Tale taken from forthcoming album Modern Blues. “It was a pleasure to make this as a wholly live video, with the band performing for real,” explains Scott of the Robert Jan Westdijk directed clip, filmed during soundcheck before live shows at The Paradiso in Amsterdam last month. “My only concern was whether we would play it as good as the record, which had the benefit of studio circumstances and retakes. But I realise, after comparing the two, we played it a little better!”. Modern Blues meanwhile is released on Monday (19 January), but the whole record is streaming right now on our sister site MOJO.
