Justin Robertson are set to play this year’s Festival Number 6 (5-7 September), headlining the Castell Gardens stage. Ahead of his trip to Portmeirion we put five questions to him.
WHO would play you in the film of your life?
I’ve always envisaged my biopic being enacted by felt puppets.
WHAT are you currently working on?
Just putting the finishing touches to the new Deadstock 33s album, doing remixes for Passarella Death Squad and Tronikyouth, also trying my hand at painting, mixed media mainly on my hands and face at the moment.
WHY do you do that thing you do?
Compelled by phantoms of my own making.
WHERE do you see yourself in ten years?
The silent partner in “The Temple of Celestial Health BnB” dressed in extravagant silk pantaloons, sporting a Fez, putting the finishing touches to an ill-advised concept album.
WHEN will there be a harvest for the world?
Though times are bleak, I remain optimistic, enlightenment is imminent ,lets not get hemmed in by fatalism and division. Damn I’m getting cosmic in my old age, must work on my cynicism.
