Having just released new album Preternaturals this week, Grumbling Fur head to Festival Number 6 next month (5-7 September). We put five questions to one half of the band, Alexander Tucker (right).
WHO would play you in the film of your life?
Blimey! That’s a hard one. I don’t know, the guy who plays Frodo? [laughs] How about Paul McGann. I love Paul McGann: the I of Withnail and I.
WHAT are you currently working on?
Working on the next Grumbling Fur album and also my next solo album. I’ve also just finished a graphic novel and I’m going to release that’s soon, hopefully.
WHY do you do that thing you do?
To make my life better. To delve into myself and see what’s inside.
WHERE do you see yourself in ten years?
Hopefully still making music and artwork and having more and more success from it.
WHEN will there be a harvest for the world?
I don’t really know if there will be. Sadly. Internally maybe people will have a revolution [laughs]
