Why now? This is the band’s brand new single – out 18 February – which heralds their return with new Stuart Price produced album Get To Heaven in the summer (15 June). The video was directed by frontman Jonathan Higgs who explains: “Distant Past is about primal human nature, and no matter how far we progress in our civilisations, we can never escape it.” The band have announced two shows, London’s Oval Space on 9 April and Manchester’s Academy 2 a day later (10).
