Unique photographs of some of the world’s greatest guitarist are set to feature in a new book from Scarlet Page – and Q has a preview gallery above.
Resonators will feature black and white images of the likes of Noel Gallagher, Paul McCartney, Graham Coxon, Paul Weller, Wilko Johnson, Jimmy Page (Scarlet’s father) and more, as it traces some of the most respected guitarist from the 60s, via heavy metal, punk and Britpop, to today’s new breed guitar heroes.
“Ultimately though they are just instruments; a guitar is always a guitar but the human face is constantly changing and it is people that I’m ultimately interested in,” explains Page of her project.
Having shot the photos over the last two years, Page’s will be available via Kickstarter, and all purchasers names printed in the book as a thank you.
