Don’t call it a comeback but the Rudeboy is back on Britain streets. Celebrating the resurgence of the sharp-suited subset acclaimed photographer and filmmaker Dean Chalkley creative director Harris Elliott has spent the past 12 months photographing individuals who embody the rude boy – and girl – in the 21st century.
The results are currently on show in a free exhibition, Return Of The Rudeboy, running until 25 August at London’s Somerset House.
To preview the show, here’s a a gallery featuring a few of those Rudies in the exhibition, including the legs of Libertines drummer Gary Powell. For more information head to Somersethouse.org.uk.
