Having already scored this year’s the Brits Critics Choice award, Jack Garratt’s his album Phase is released next week (19 February), it’s reviewed in the latest issue of Q, available now in print and on digital. Meanwhile here’s five questions with the man of the moment…
WHO would play you in the film of your life?
It would have to be Aziz Ansari. I just think he’d be able to perform my inner monologue most accurately.
WHAT are you currently working on?
I’m currently working on a passion project that I can’t say too much about, but I can say it sounds like nothing I’ve ever done before.
WHY do you do that thing you do?
Because it brings me a sense of purpose. I hope that I am in a way helping and touching other people with my music, and being a musician and having this as a job gives me a sense of purpose beyond my own selfish needs.
WHERE do you see yourself in ten years?
Errrrrrrm, Norfolk? Hopefully just doing what I’m doing right now, but in Norfolk. Probably.
WHEN will there be a harvest for the world?
There will be a harvest for the world in the year 2032, on Flufftember, which will be a new month, on the 33rd day. So yeah, the 33rd of Flufftember 2032, that’s when there will be a harvest for the world.
