Currently touring the UK ahead of releasing their debut album My Love Is Cool on 22 June – and they’ve joined the line-up for Calling Festival in London with Noel Gallagher at Clapham Common on 4 July – Ellie Rowsell from London band Wolf Alice has answered five questions for Q… and given us some exclusive behind the scenes tour footage. WHO would play you in the film of your life?
Elijah Wood, cause I like him, he’s unusual, and I heard he’s into his bands.
WHAT are you currently working on?
I’m working on a number of things – trying to improve my general knowledge by reading lots of books, touring, writing, but mainly getting everything to do with our debut album done and dusted so its ready to come out.
WHY do you do that thing you do?
I do a lot of things and I’m not sure why.
WHERE do you see yourself in ten years?
In a luxury sleeper bus touring the world with Wolf Alice and our kids, who will form a kid version of Wolf Alice and support us.
WHEN will there be a harvest for the world?
As soon as we work out what that question means.
