Rae Morris releases her debut album Ungarded today (26 January). To get through the Blackpool singer’s defences, we put five telling questions to her.
WHO would play you in the film of your life?
I dream of Helena Bonham Carter playing my middle aged self that I don’t yet know about. Hopefully I’ll be as cool as her.
WHAT are you currently working on?
Today I’m designing some artwork for tour merchandise and working on putting my New Years resolutions into practice! I have free reign to write now the album is completed so that is my focus really.
WHY do you do that thing you do?
I do it because it’s the thing in my life that I’m most certain of. Nothing makes me feel as content and alive as music does.
WHERE do you see yourself in ten years?
I see myself calm, in the countryside somewhere, with a couple of albums under my belt and a whole lot more brewing inside me. I’m excited to feel slightly older and wiser. The possibilities are endless.
WHEN will there be a harvest for the world?
When we all get our priorities right and open our eyes to reality i think.
