Spoon return with new album They Want My Soul on Monday (4 August), their first album in four years.

Ahead of its release, frontman Britt Daniel (front) has recorded an exclusive track-by-track guide to the record which you can listen to below now.

The singer explains how hip hop, The Kinks, producer Dave Fridmann and “horror movie strings” have all played at role in Spoon’s return.
