Having debuted his single Move With You on the radio yesterday (31 Jul), Jacob Banks is set to release the follow-up to his The Monologue EP on 14 September. We put five questions to the artist who has toured with the likes of Alicia Keys and Chase and Status.
WHO would play you in the film of your life?
I want to say Leonardo DiCaprio but he may struggle due to obvious reasons (pigmentation) and my life story deserves an Oscar and I’m not quite sure with him, he doesn’t seem to be very liked by the Oscar committee! So I’ll go with Jamie Foxx because he is a badman!
WHAT are you currently working on?
Working on my album which is lots and lots of fun and also working on maintaining my God level on FIFA, ask about me
WHY do you do that thing you do?
Because I want to be happy and in a world of so much pushes and pull where nothing is guaranteed we may as well be happy and protect our magic. (That was proper deep #bars)
WHERE do you see yourself in ten years?
Still happy, probably somewhere rural like Cornwall with my family listening to Drakes greatest hits album

When R Kelly stops wearing studs.
