New Jersey’s Real Estate kick off a series of European dates this week by playing the mulit-venue and multi-city Dot To Do Festival in Manchester, Bristol and Nottingham (23-25 May). To make sense of this musical land grab we asked Alex Bleeker (second from the left) exactly five questions…
WHO would play you in the film of your life?
I guess I’d probably be best suited to play myself. Maybe if it’s made when I’m older I can have a little cameo, seated at a cafe table or something ala Hunter Thompson in Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas.
WHAT are you currently working on?
Self improvement. Also a new Freaks album.
WHY do you do that thing you do?
I do it for Tom Hanks.
WHERE do you see yourself in ten years?
Settled down with the love of my life some place tropical. Or in a cabin in Woodstock, NY.
WHEN will there be a harvest for the world?
When the Isley Brothers finally sit atop the throne in Buckingham Palace.
