Having released second album The Future’s Void last month, EMA – Erika M Anderson for long – is currently in the middle of a European tour, with UK dates kicking off at The Garage in London on 3 June. Between soundchecks and shows, she answered five little questions for us.
WHO would play you in the film of your life?
An androgynous scrapper who has yet to be discovered.
WHAT are you currently working on?
I’m currently working on keeping my health and sanity on the road.
WHY do you do that thing that you do?
This is a deep question and it’s stumping me. I think it has the right balance of challenges and rewards to keep me coming back. That and I’m terrible at working under authority or a boss.
WHERE do you see yourself in ten years?
I used to think that I would move back to the Midwest and start a family. Now I’m not so sure.
WHEN will there be a harvest for the world?
When we realize that unchecked capitalism is terrible for the environment.
