The Coral‘s frontman James Skelly is currently on the road playing solo dates with his band The Intenders. Playing songs from recent album Love Undercover, he not only plays Glasgow’s King Tuts Wah Wah Hut tonight (4 December), he headlines the This Feeling night in Manchester on Saturday (7), before playing its London leg a week later (14), see Thisfeeling.co.uk. Here’s his short but sweet answers to our 5Ws…
WHO would play you in the film of your life?
I’d like to say Brad Pitt, but more likely Jimmy Krankie.
WHAT are you currently working on?
Just finishing producing a band called Sundowners’ album, it sounds great. I’m going to put it out on my Skeleton Key Records label next year.
WHY do you do that thing you do?
Because I like it, and it reminds me I’m alive.
WHERE do you see yourself in ten years?
I try not to look that far into the future, nothing ever works out how I think it will anyway. I try to adapt to each situation i’m in.
WHEN will there be a harvest for the world?
When peoples lives become more important than profit.
