Why now? This song is taken from Skip A Sinking Stone, MB’s forthcoming album (out 20 May), which is a two part, autobiographical record. The first half charts Lee after the release of debut album Love’s Crushing Diamond, while the second segment finds the songwriter in New York. The fate of a romantic relationship is also captured across the parts. Meanwhile Mutual Benefit plays a one-off UK gig at London’s Bush Hall on 28 April.
