Following the deaths of the band and their manager, Craig Tarry, in a motoring accident in Sweden last week, friends and fans of the band have launched a campaign to get their song Swings And Waterslides into the UK charts as a tribute, encouraging people to download it via iTunes. Backed by the likes of Liam Gallagher and BBC DJ Huw Stephens, according to the latest chart figures, the track is on course to reach the Top Ten, with all downloads purchased before 11.59pm tonight (18 February) counted for tomorrow’s chart. The band’s label, Communion, have said proceeds from the single will go to the families of the band and manager.
