Circa Waves brought both this year’s Q Awards Gigs and their biggest UK tour to date to a close last night (18 October) with an intimate show at London’s Under The Bridge venue.
Adding the extra, intimate date to their recent run of shows the Q Best New Act, presented by Orange Amplification, nominees ensured there despite it being a Sunday night, maximum energy was the order of business reminding the crowd they were there to dance right from the off.
With the crowd singing along loudly throughout the show, the band blasted through the likes of Get Away and T-Shirt Weather, plus a particularly rousing rendition of Stuck In My Teeth as they performed their last scheduled UK date of the year – with worldwide dates now beckoning.
Earlier the last Q Awards Gig of 2015 had been kicked off in delicate fashion by American singer-songwriter Max Jury, who warmed-up the audience with an emotional yet uplifting one man show.
