Last year a galaxy of stars (including Ed Sheeran, Kasabian, Sam Smith, Manic Street Preachers, Pink Floyd, Johnny Marr, St Vincent and many more) descended on a London hotel for our annual awards – the most exclusive event in the music calendar.

This year’s Q Awards In Association With Absolute Radio, which takes place on Monday, 19 October, at a central London venue, promises the same degree of food-anddrink-related mayhem and star-studded pageantry, all under the watchful eye of returning host, Absolute Radio’s Christian O’Connell. And what’s more, help us choose the winners from the categories below, and you could win a pair of tickets to music’s most prestigious event. Here’s the deal…

How to vote

You decide who wins what. To vote, simply fill in the form below and nominate your favourite artist, track or video in the

various categories shown right. For album, track and video, the work has to have been released within the last 12 months (anything out from September 2014 – when we announced last year’s shortlist – is eligible) otherwise the choice is up to you.

This year WaterAid will continue to be the official charity at the Q Awards. Last year saw a whole host of artists, from Ed Sheeran to Pink Floyd’s Nick Mason, sign bespoke prints and an exclusive Gibson Les Paul guitar to raise vital funds for WaterAid’s Christmas auction. WaterAid’s vision is of a world where everyone, everywhere, has clean water and toilets by 2030. Go to Wateraid.org.
